An Even Plainer Language Discussion About Legal, Privacy, Terms and Conditions Policies
Last updated: March 3, 2026
As explained in the Preface to this site’s Privacy Policy, GRPMAX, LLC has been respecting its users’ privacy, and stating so, since long before it became in vogue or considered a best practice or, where necessary, a legal requirement to do so. Longer even than most of those now in the business of providing Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, and other policy drafting and related services.
As over the years the legal landscape became more complex, through no fault of companies like Ours who have always respected users’ privacy, policies grew longer, mostly necessitated by bad actors and those who thrive on legalease. Much of the wording in today’s policies would be unneeded and could be dispensed with otherwise.
To the degree that today’s landscape either necessitates certain additional wording or We choose voluntarily to include it to provide greater clarity and leave less to doubt, an effort will be made to use language that is as free of legalease and as clearly written in Plain Language, Plain English as is possible.
This page will likely start out small, with little to see here, and grow over time as more is posted.
It is intended as a place for content related to this site’s Privacy Policy that it would be inappropriate to include directly within the Privacy Policy itself.
Additionally, whereas allowing comments directly on an actual Privacy Policy can be problematic, and potentially confusing for readers, here as a signed in user, you may comment directly on this post if you would like to contribute feedback, (hopefully constructive) criticism, suggestions, etc., regarding this or related polices.
