Info For Founding Members
Almost Everything is Intended for thinking people interested in actively commenting, asking questions, and contributing constructive, positive thoughts, ideas, and suggestions rather than simply passively consuming what is offered or someone else thinks you need!
Please read this first before or after you sign up!
For a very long time little if anything associated with me, Phil Covington, the site's creator, or the parent company, GRPMAX, LLC , has been advertising, marketing, or sales related.
Nothing here is part of a "Sales Funnel" or campaign.
Almost Everything is Intended for thinking people interested in actively commenting, asking questions, and contributing constructive, positive thoughts, ideas, and suggestions rather than simply passively consuming what is offered or someone else thinks you need!
Not only have people become accustomed and conditioned to the aforementioned passive approach but, if you've already read (or, if you haven't yet, please do read) the initial content already on the site, you'll know that, counter-intuitively, most people respond more to emotional appeals that aren't meant in good faith or well intentioned, than to good faith, well intentioned efforts based on appealing to rational, fact-based efforts sincerely offered in the best interests.
Many studies have proven that passive consumption has negative effects on the brain and body
(Citations and research references readily available.)
That's been true since before the Internet, online Web, social media, etc., which was where the term "coach potato" came from.
Now, in addition to video and TV content more people are passively consuming content, and buying the products and services marketed to them in that way, instead of actively engaging with the content. And even if someone was inclined to engage with the content the degree to which most of it is more focused on grabbing people's attention that on substance, most of that kind of content isn't even intended for its audience to be engaged.
In contrast Almost Everything wants you to take an active role in at least expressing what you feel is NEEDED.
The text on the Signup button referring to a "library of members-only issues" is stock text provided with the Ghost.org platform theme this site runs on. To repeat, we've been around longer than most, have been at this longer than most, and over those many years, and decades, have already built an enormous library of resources addressing Almost Everything You NEED. But that is not what you'll see after you sign up because the design of this initative is to have YOU be the one expressing what YOU need.
The chances are that if it truly falls into the NEED category an answer, solution, article and/or information is already available and can be posted to the member's content area very quickly. Or in the unlikely possibility that isn't the case you'll be informed of such and we'll go to work on providing an answer or solution. Not to be confused with Question and Answer (Q/A) sites, and certainly not AI (Artificial Intelligence). Because if you've read the founding post you'll know it includes things like education, housing, etc., which few if any of the aforementioned kinds of sites are likely to be able to provide you with a connection and/or solution to.
If you become a verified member of Almost Everything YOU will be able to help determine and guide not only your own NEEDS but by doing so help anyone who follows by having been the first to cause it to be posted.
Always a believer in giving credit where credit is due, Almost Everything is quite open to giving credit whenever and wherever it is practical, should you so desire.
If you feel this is insufficient you're welcome to reach out ahead of time if you prefer.
Contact information is available at the bottom of the "About This Site" page, and when you sign up.
Looking forward to hearing from you and helping connect you with Almost Everything You NEED!
